![]() And if you’re doing an easier mission, you can try removing extra troops and Optimizing to see if you can get away with it while still succeeding and taking minimal damage. Not satisfied? Just change up some troops and Optimize again, to your heart’s content, until you find a combination that will not only yield mission success, but also make you lose as little HP as possible - preferably none. If you feel like it, you can then use the Optimize button to let the addon try to find a better placement for the current units you have on the field in order to minimize HP loss. When you place your troops on the field, the addon automatically calculates not only your chance of success - taking into account all the different abilities that your units and the enemy units have - but it also displays how much total HP you will lose. If your goal is to really think about every mission, to try out several different combinations, Covenant Mission Helper is for you. This is the best addon to help you plan out your actions. It’s time to highlight the two most popular ones, and how they can hopefully help you transform the Shadowlands mission table into a game that you can actually win - or to maximize your gains more than ever. Thankfully for us, certain addons exist that allow us to make a little more sense out of this whole mess. ![]() The interface simply doesn’t provide us with the tools to do that easily. However, it’s very hard to actually calculate the optimal positioning for every troop ourselves. It’s no longer about simply selecting a mission and picking which champions embark on it: there are other variables to consider now, with unit placement being chief among them. I'm assuming you managed to download the ZIP file correctly, and also followed the instructions for modifying the VenturePlan addon already. The Shadowlands iteration of the mission table is different from previous versions. ![]() Ok, so the zip file from the cumulative-fixes branch should replace the current version of VPSODM 0.10 ? Or is this more files that I have to insert in places? (I'm comfortable modifying files, but I don't always understand what's going on with repos and commits - my coding days were all in college, way before version control was a thing.) Could someone help me understand where I likely went wrong please? Shakedown, Defeat the World Eaters and Piratical Problems. I copy/pasted the new spells kindly posted from I load WoW and the open the adventure table, there are alerts on the missions Prison Break, Gatecrashers, Customary I deleted the old VentureplanSoDMissions and did a fresh download and put it in the addons file I did see the added change for overideAA and put that in the ventureplan file. There's nothing to download or copy like the "latest release" button for Hythloday's page. ![]() I don't know how to use/install the cumulative fixes branch. It was working great until 9.2 hit this week. I installed hythloday's Ventureplansodmissions. Previously, I followed instructions for "Getting it Running" and "Hotfixing the Code" for extra companions. I really appreciate those of you who are keeping this addon functional for people like me who might as well be reading a foreign language. Hotfix: Health and attack reduced on enemies, and damage of 1 spell effect reduced for these 2 missions and some other 9.2 ones.New missions had no tuning passes on PTR and as a result mission 2331 Into the Wilds, and 2334 Construction Error don't appear to be winnable (for Night Fae at least) - again, they don't seem interested in fixing this.Hotfix: Now correctly ticks for flat damage, and has no initial tick.Spell 369 Power of Domination (in mission 2340 Giant Footprints in the Sand) is bugged and unintentionally ticks for 100% of a target's health rather than flat damage, so you'll want a good percentage damage reduction to get through it - they seem to have no interest in fixing this. ![]()
